I think there were originally 2 threads and the other has been removed, I guess your post was in the other.

      PS - bt to sky

No, it was this thread. But, even if it was as you suggest, I would have expected the threads to be merged!

Not very nice, having a post deleted!

The mods dont delete posts / merge threads for fun, i'm sure it would have been a genuine mistake. Dont worry i'm sure you will still qualify for the comp by the end of the month

There's nothing showing in the Moderator log for this thread i.e. there's no record of any post being deleted.

Ummm I may be guilty here?

      There are two threads....

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...e-sky-why.html

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...e-sky-why.html

      Notice the wording. Very similar.

FYI We don't delete threads. We move them to an inaccessible location or to another thread. Unless of course they are spam.

iirc I moved two threads from http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-b...e-sky-why.html to this one, as they had been posted, when they should have been in this thread.

The two posts that I moved were these ones.

Re: Who did you migrate from to Sky - and why?

I have just checked the deleted posts section, and the moderator logs, fyi Only Glenn and I can physically delete posts. The moderators can only 'soft delete' but we can always revert if necessary.

According to the logs, there is no way that your post could have been in this thread or the other one, excluding the fact there could be an issue with the database. Leave it with me to investigate further.

I wouldn't normally do this, but for the sake of clarity, I have attached the logs from the Admin section since 10.29am yesterday morning. There have been no threads moved or deleted from this or the other similar thread, apart from the two that I have done, as I have already confessed to.

      No problem

A few days ago I made a post and later noticed it hadn't appeared. Going back through my browser history I realised I'd previewed the post but not submitted it. Maybe you did the same?
