      There is a note at the bottom of the forums telling you what the icons mean.

      I take on board what you are saying, however Netgear are using a box standard vBulletin forum, with standard icons. If we replaced our customised ones for the box standard ones, they would then be identical to what you are saying. (not really sure we want to use box standard icons, after all the money we spent having it customised though....)

      Have a look at the Picnic Broadband User forum, the icons are slightly different to these.

      I can't see anything that describes the subtle change in icon colour which distinguishes between the threads that I've posted in and to which replies have been posted, and those where I haven't.

      But it's no biggie, really.

      unsure if this is the right thread but here goes anyway and apologies if its wrong
      i dont get the thanks button at the bottom of my posts is there something i have to do to activate this function, some posts have said thanks to me in them but they do not show on profile bar at side of posts

      You do have a thanks button - visible to everyone else but you. I guess the forum software does that to avoid people thanking themselves.
