How to install Ventrilo

Download the program from Ventrilo - Download

You will need to select which client, normally it will be Windows i386 - 32bit

Install the program and then click on the Icon to open it.

Once this program is open, click on the arrow to the right of Username and select New. Choose a name, then click on OK, then OK again.

Go to server and click on the arrow to the right of that, click New, call it what you wish, in the Hostname / IP put: 87.117.195.90 in the port section put: 3859
press Ok to save.

Click the set up button, top left hand corner you need a tick in the first 3 boxes, make sure there is no tick in Play Key Clicks.

Where it says Hotkey, you need to select a key on your keyboard to press when you wish to speak. I use ALT to the left of my spacebar. Once you have done this press OK to save.

To join Ventrilo, press the connect button. To speak to others, press the key on your keyboard that you chose above, and speak away.

To move channels within Ventrilo, just click on the relevant channel, or if an Admin of the server is on, he will move you to the right channel.

Please respect the rules and where it says No Swearing, means that members may have children and their speakers switched on and so therefore you are not allowed to swear in that particular channel.

The rules apply to everyone.

Or, You could host a Ventrillo Server yourself?
