      Incorrect SMTP Details

      After spending almost 30mins on Live Chat to Sky I was provided with SMTP details (as I can no longer send emails via MS Outlook), details provided were smtp.tools.sky.com, outgoing port :465. Still not able to send emails.Has anyone else been provided with the same details and had any success sending emails???

      Have you ticked "my outgoing server requires verification" and "use same details as incoming server" or similar wording? Then enable SSL as well. Address and port are correct.

      Hi Nick, thanks for your reply, I have tried that but I still get an error message.Will probably have to get back onto Sky.

      Have you checked firewall settings?

      Since this isn't the usual SMTP port.

      What is the exact error message you are getting?

      Can you open your email using the Web page? Can you send mail from there? Click the Email link on your MySky page.

      You are sending and receiving with an @Sky.com address?
