Re: Problem sending emails (SMTP) using skyuser server
Thank you SatDish.
For everyone else:
I don't know what the cause was this time, but the previous problem was specifically caused by a member whose computer was sending out lots of spam.
Intentionally or not, it is possible that a computer was compromised and something started sending out lots of spam from the computer. With this in mind, I would suggest that everyone who uses this service double and triple check their computers to ensure that not only are they free of any nasties hidden somewhere on their computers, but also ensure that suitable measures are taken to prevent something from hijacking their computer in the future.
I know that this will upset some people, but it is not just a Windows based computer that can be compromised. Whether you are using Android, iOS, Linux or any other operating system, there are nasties out there which are designed to compromise your computer.

Re: Problem sending emails (SMTP) using skyuser server
Do I set up a sky.com email account then add my own peter@domain.com as an extra account? What are the Sky / Yahoo SMPT settings for Outlook?
You can find a tutorial on setting up Sky mail using Outlook here.
Get emails on your Windows desktop client | Sky Help
One small point, although it is said not to, IMAP will work with Yahoo.
