      Sky mail icon on desktop

      Hi,

      could you please help me ? Since it's only my wife & I that use the pc, I'd like to be able to place an icon on my desktop which will open up my sky mail account without going through all the log in procedure on the sky website, is there any easy way I can get use a desktop icon to do this

      You can't go directly into your email without signing in. This is for obvious security reasons. The best you can do is create a shortcut to the login page. To do this -
      Right click on an empty space on your Desktop
      Scroll down and select New>Shortcut.
      When the panel opens paste this in the text box - https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email
      Click Next, give it a name and click Finish and that's it. You will have an icon on your Desktop which will open your default browser and take you direct to the email login. This will save your username, but not your password.

      There may be a way to write a script to hold your details to add to the shortcut, but that is beyond me.
