      Hotmail Blocking Skyuser?

      Hi,
I replied to a mail from a hotmail account yesterday and the reply went to myself ( freeserve.co.uk account) and a virgin.net account but got the following mail back in respect of the hotmail account (xxxxxxx replaces actual account for privacy):

With reference to your message with the subject:
      "RE: Weather"

The local mail transport system has reported the following problems it encountered while trying to deliver your message:

      -------------------------------------------------------------------
      *** xxxxxxx@hotmail.com
550 SC-001 Unfortunately, messages from 77.240.11.49 weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list. You can also refer your provider to Troubleshooting
      -------------------------------------------------------------------

Your mail message is being returned to you in the next part of this message.

Should you need assistance, please mail postmaster@mail.skyusermail.com.

Header from mail received at virgin.net account shows 77.240.11.49 as being mail.skyusermail.com, so is Hotmail blocking Skyuser due to spam?
I have successfully sent to this Hotmail account in the recent past.

      Any help appreciated.

      Thanks,
      Ed.

      Re: Hotmail Blocking Skyuser?

Hi, sorry for late response, I've been somewhat tied up this week. Have just replied to same hotmail account, but user hasn't confirmed receipt yet. No "undelivered" response receieved. Sent a message to my own account and that was received, so I would agree that issue appears to be resolved now.

      Thanks for speedy response!
