Still having problems in spite of smtp account

Right I have received my smtp details and have entered them but no luck so far. I have played around with different server port numbers but none seem to give me success. I actually can't receive emals now on the wanadoo account, although when I started this process I could. We have enabled pop on the sky account. ANy suggestions

The best result I get is with the serever ports set at outgoing 25 and incoming 110 with no SSL boxes ticked
I get this message
Account: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Server: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR unknown command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

If I use the recommended 465 and 995 with the SSL boxes ticked I dont seem to connect at all the orangehome, it just hangs

Re: Still having problems in spite of smtp account

Why did you change your POP account settings? You only need to change SMTP as that is the only restriction in place. It looks like you now have SSL enabled which you do not need, turn it off and put it back to standard pop.
Orange Outlook POP
or
Orange OE POP
