Angry Outlook does not get refreshed email from sky

Hi,

Post for the first time. I have joined Sky from Virgin last month and have finally got the set up I want , which is to enable POP on Sky so Outlook 2003 gets the email from sky email accounts. However there is a problem I encountered. The next day when I turn on my PC and refresh outlook I receive no new mail. When I logged into sky.com I could see new mails came in overnight. These mails somehow did not get transfered to Outlook, which is very frustrating. I then reset the Sky mail option to download mail and it worked again. All is fine until the next day same thing happen again.

Is ther someting I missed in the set up? Can someone help please.

When you go into the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" settings do you have "POP is enabled " in green, and are you saving changes when you exit the settings page?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I just got into "Forward and POP/IMAP" and the 'Pop is Enabled since 20:40" in green. This afternoon there were two emails one at 2PM and one at 4PM which both appeared in my sky account. Yet in my Outlook I only received the one at 2PM! As the above sentence in "Forward and POP/IMAP" and the 'Pop is Enabled since 20:40" in green. I assumed this means only mail appear after 20:40 will be passed to Outlook. This means the email at 4PM will never download to Outlook. The only option for me now is to set in mail setting to click "Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)" which means all the emaiklls from day one will be downloaded again.
