Don't want Sky account as outgoing mail address

Hi All:

My first post, cna I say thanks for all the help o nthis forum, when I switch from BT to Sky for Broadband I had a lot of trouble getting e-mail working through outlook, the advice on here got it working, however I have another small problem that I can not figure out.

I have a domain name and incoming pop3 server, all this information is entered on the e-mail account set-up, however the outgoing server (sky one) requires authentication with my sky user name and as such any e-mails that go out go with the bains_a@sky.com e-mail address when I actually want them to go out with info@mydomainname.co.uk

I have changed the 'reply to' to have info@mydomainname.co.uk and this still shows the bains_a@sky.com address but at least it sends the replies back to the right address now.

Is there any way I can prevent it from showing the sky e-mail address?

not using the sky smtp server 'no'. But if you apply for a skyuser smtp server then 'yes'.

There should be a sticky in this forum explaining what to do and you should be up and running in 24hrs.
