Bandwidth Meter with Multiple PCs
Should each PC on the LAN use the same login id, or should they have separate ids?
If separate, how is aggregation of downloads configured?

Re: Bandwidth Meter with Multiple PCs
Hello
iirc you would use the same login for each PC and then look via the website for your aggregated totals.

Re: Bandwidth Meter with Multiple PCs
You install it on all the machines you want to log and use the same log in details. When you call up your totals you will get something like this -

Re: Bandwidth Meter with Multiple PCs
Thanks for your replies.
I installed Bandwidth Meter on my main PC and it is working fine. However, if BM is then started on another PC it (BM) shuts down immediately. Entries for both PCs seem to be shown correctly on the BM website, although only the first PC has any traffic.
Both PCs are running Windows XP SP3 with Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, and no relevant events reported by KIS.
Does anyone have a multi-PC setup working correctly?

Re: Bandwidth Meter with Multiple PCs
It looks like only one PC can be logged in at any one time.
Therefore although BWM can aggregate the downloads from more than one PC, this facility will be of no use if you have a main PC that is logged in all the time, because the other PCs will never get the chance to login and add their figures.
This a pity, but at least the capability to exclude local traffic is really useful.

Re: Bandwidth Meter with Multiple PCs
The newer version of this covers all usage between the network card in the PC and the router, however, if you have more than one PC then you would need to install it on each PC.
Unfortunately it does not cover console usage etc and there is also an issue with the website that aggregates all your stats, if you choose to register each PC to then see total usage in one place. This is been worked on as previously stated.

Re: Bandwidth Meter with Multiple PCs
I have loaded V1.1.4 on three machines but only get information about the first one on the Full Bandwidth stats. All three appear in the table but the data for two of them os all zeros. Is there still a problem with multiple PCs?
