1 year warranty on the box or not?
We had Sky+ and dish installed in May this year, so we've not had it for a year yet. I keep getting calls and spam letters, claiming to be from Sky informing me that my warranty on the box and dish has run out and if I want it protected I need to sign up for their support package. I always say no thanks, which prompts them to try the hard sell, by telling me its an £80 call out fee for a Sky engineer before they even do any work.
I always thought you had a year's warranty with a Sky box? I'm on my 3rd box since May 08 and the last one was only replaced 2 months ago.
