Amstrad Sky+ box.

My Amstrad Sky + Box was installed on Saturday. I have given it a few ` trial runs` and i`m very pleased with it. I was today, looking at the Digital Spy forums and found a huge number of complaints regarding the Amstrad + box. The main issue is regarding `sound skips`. All of the complainants want the box replaced with either a Pace or Thomson sky + box. Has anyone had similar problems with the Amstrad ? I don`t think i had any option but to accept this box. Anyway, time will tell.

When I first had Sky+ installed, I got the Amstrad box. I had none of the issues you describe, however I did keep getting a no signal error after a few weeks.

I rang Sky and the installer that came out, replaced it with a Pace box.

See how you get on, Sky are normally pretty good (or have been in my instance) on replacing / looking after their Sky TV supplied equipment.

I have had this box for about 3 months now and its great. No problem with it at all. Out of the 3 brands the Amstrad is the best.
