What is Unlimited???

After struggling for 3 years with Connect I have at last managed to get on Sky Unlimited.

I had suffered with throttling with Connect and appear to be suffering the same with Unlimited.

So I ask again what's unlimited about Unlimited

Its not throttled or traffic shaped.
Post your stats if that is what you are concerned about.

Maybe they haven't put you on Unlimited yet. Also, DLM may be in process. As dholdi mentioned, please post your stats?

And following on from that I checked my service details at Sky under the "My Sky" shortcut.
This still says I am with Connect.

While I have a letter from Sky saying my details have changed and they will soon send me another letter confirming my billing details.

Strange company

Who did you call initially to get changed to Unlimited? They would be the best ones to contact. I doubt if the normal support line can do anything about this. Provisioning maybe?

Followed up your suggestion. Seems I'm still on Connect. The guy at Sky says there has been a delay on my upgrade and is blaming BT. Cant give me a timescale. This does not fill me with deep joy. I have to say I doubt my upgrade will happen. What a load of crap

This type of change requires the engineer to go to the exchange a physically move your wires to another board, it could be they are waiting on some more to change before they arrange an exchange visit. They could be telling the truth when they say they are waiting on BT. Sky and BT do not seem to work very well together.
