.... to support ADSL2+, so Sky have switched us to G.D.M.T and are refusing to investigate further.
We used to be able to get 10 to 12 Mbps, but are now stuck at 8Mbps.
Also, we were one of the first to be put on DLM many moons ago, and when that messed up our line, and Sky fixed it back (4 months later

) we were assured that we would not be put on it again.
Guess what, they put us on it last week and slowed us down to 4Mbps with only a 512Kbps upload.
They have now reset to 8Mbps and 768Kbps on G.D.M.T but are unable to reconnect us to ADSL2+
They just keep saying that due to more Broadband users in the area (not just Sky) our line must have been reconfigured, so no more ADSL2+
They are refusing to contact BT about this issue
This has been ongoing since November 2008 and we are now at the end of our tether.
We have the complete package with them (Sky+HD, Sky+, Sky Talk Unlimited, Phone rental to Sky and Sky BB Max/Unlimited) so you can imagine how much we are paying them each month.
Our last ticket to CST went unanswered again, and they claim they sent a text message informing us they had reconfigured the connection, before closing the ticket. No text, and the line was still 4Mbps

This is getting beyond a joke. We wish Virgin Media (then NTL) did not mess up the cable instalation in our street by laying the pipework in the wrong place all those years ago, as we wanted to switch even then.
