Unhappy Terry

Is it not strange that Sky alter the name of the most popular broadband package
after doubling the price, then reduce the capacity to 25% and yet fail to increase the speed as promised. if anything the speed has reduced!

Has anyone managed to get through on the phone lines to complain or are Sky deliberatly blocking the lines until they find some other way to blackmail long standing punters, What a con!

Re: Terry

Terry, only those who were getting very near the full 8Mb on Mid will have any chance of seeing any more speed. As you say, a pure con, they must think we are all idiots.

Re: Terry

I have to say that plenty of other ISPs offer the same service and usage cap for a lot more money than sky are charging, I suspect that this is the real reason for the change. Compared to others ISPs it doesn't seem so bad, compared to what you used to have it seems a very harsh choice on their part, perhaps designed to move everyone to the top package?

Re: Terry

im with virgin but if i could get near 20mbs on sky unlimited i would much rather get that for £10 a month compared to what i am paying virgin at the moment!! especially considering they reduce the speed to 25% after i download for around 10 mins(with a 20mb connection speed), i dont plan on leaving virgin though as my chances of getting 20mb with sky are slim to none =[
