Thumbs down Sky connect using online poker software

Anyone help as sky cant help. Been with sky for 12 months broadband 5 years tv.for the last 2 years ive played online poker at BET365 who are part of th i poker network. For the last 3 weeks any day after 430pm (when the site is busier) all i get is cannot connect to server. Sky assure me it is not there problem and bet365 assure me it is skys fault. i am well below my useage for bandwith etc. its cost me £120 in tournament fees as id already qualified for a £100k tournament and several others that i could not play in due to whatever is going on. i asked for a refund of my tourney fees (frustrating because id already qualified!!) but b365 through i poker said that there software is always fully operational and i should try sky!! fat chance, i cant even understand anyone on the phone and they never have a clue what im on about. ive spent 5 1/2 hours on phone to sky, bet365 are great and try to help but im getting knowhere. anyone with any advice id appreciate it many thanks!!

Hi the problem is the connect package is being Traffic Managed it has been since October have a look at the links
I see you have already looked at Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down? the Connect package is not any good for online gaming. It has been said many times on different threads about connect

Re: Sky connect using online poker software

You need to find another ISP. It is Sky at fault, they have put traffic management in place for p2p networks which will be what it effecting you.

They screwed up the Playstation PSN network when the implimented it a few weeks ago and had to back track.

Re: Sky connect using online poker software

That was when they started to traffic manage P2P networks, about the same thime they stuffed all the PS2 gamers.

Do yourself a favour, leave.
