This is becoming a joke.
I made a thread about middle November, it was about slow speeds and drop outs. I was reassured that the drop outs would be because of the WiFi Signal not being strong enough, I was recommended home-plugs which I bought and they seem to solve the drop outs.
For the speed, I was told to wait about 2-3 weeks as all new customers are expected to have poor speeds at first. But it has been about 5-6 weeks and they have maintained the same or gotten worse. I am on the 16Mbps Max Package, told I would get 3.5 Mbps but I am only getting 300-700kbps even if it is 3AM. With a Ping averaging out at about 150ms.
Is there anything else I could do? Would ringing Sky help at all? I am becoming very frustrated as with Virgin internet, I was on a 4Mbps package and would get 3500Kbps at most time

DownStream Connection Speed: 764 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed: 732 kbps
Is there anything else you need? That is coming from the master socket.

Re: This is becoming a joke.
Thanks for that, by the looks of things DLM has done its job and capped your line down.
Maybe a call to sky from the test or master socket, also have a swap the filters over before you call.
Say you have a slow connection, your in the test/ master socket filters swapped. Once through to CST they should uncap you, also change the pings for you, You have to ask for your delays to be dropped.
08442 410 515 It should be ok to call now, not much of a wait I think.
Also make sure everything else telephony wise is disconnected.

Re: This is becoming a joke.
OK, thanks, I will give them a ring tomorrow. And sorry for the long distances between replies. I had to do some running around then the shower started leaking through the ceiling.
Thank you. I clicked that "Say Thank You" button. Don't know if it does anything :S
