will i still get the freeview channels???

hi everyone
i m thinkin to switch to virging because sky's slow speed internet. i have the max package of 16mb and only recive upto 3or 4 mbs.

sky router works 4 a month and then i have 2 wait for another 5 days 4 the new router 2 be delivered.

anyway my question is if i leave sky will i still get the freeview channels or will sky take the sat top box and the satellite away from me???? i have been with sky for more than 2 years.

If you post your router stats someone may well see if your line can actually handle the speed you want. As to the tv you would have to order a viewing card to give your the freeview channels, the box and satellite are yours if you have been with Sky for 12 months or more as far as I know.

Take your Sky card out of your Sky box and see what you will get. BBC/ITV/C4 but probably not FIVE. Plus lots of other FTA channels that you probably didn't even know were there.

If you've had your Sky equipment over 12 months then it's all yours.

However I'd try to fix your Sky BB first. Post your stats and see if someone can get you working at your correct speed.

Is your Sky Router connected directly to the Master Socket on your phone line? Attaching it to an extension will always cause the service to deteriorate sharply.
