i'm not sales, though btw...
You can quite legally record a companies' conversation, not the other way around. Hence why a company has to have the disclaimer.

Altho me saying "if your completely mental" was refering to people that want to ditch their isp of the moment for sky, this is my opion, which is allowed is it not?
No, you may have meant to say that, but you didn't, what you did say was -
Quote:
f you are completeley mental and do insist on subscribing to sky BB
This infers that those who insist on subscribing to Sky are completely mental. As the vast majority of this forum do, you are being insulting to thousands of members. I do not see why this should pass unchallenged.

In the context of the posting, i think people would take it as "if you were about to sign upto sky broadband, as the the post was about what todo to make sure you dont get lied to and how to check what ur line supports, but seeing as this is anoying u a little, i will go back and edit it.

I dont think this matters, i think if you are quoted a speed, you would expect that speed, people are still being told information that just isnt true

alot of ISP's offer free router, free routers that actually work with their wireless adapter, theres no point in having a free wireless router that doesnt connect with the wireless adapter you have either inside ur laptop or plugged to ur usb, then couple this with calling up tech to tell them that you cant connect your wireless and be told that "sorry sir/madam, we dont support that adapter, however if you would like to buy a supported adapter from ourselves for £29.99, then we can do something about your non wireless connection
The fact of the matter is, non of this should be happening

Re: Our Broadband Isnt Free!!!!

I recall you stating you were outsource at home tech.

We do not support, I have resolved every wireless call I've ever had as the router will sync with the computer if the computer allows the key.. 9-10 times it's human error.

considering you left the company many moons ago and never put a foot in any of the call centres I would ask of you to stop making a generalisation.. it is low of you and it just seems you became annoyed with high call volume or whatever and decided to do the four year old tantrum.

the steps put in place at present are very limited because? how many wireless adapters is there out there? how many different pieces of software is there available? find a network.. connect to a network.. it's all different.. hence limited resources in assisting.

and it isn't 29.99.. petty of me I know but if you wish to carry on this slander in your free time I believe I'll just point every flaw in your posts.

Re: Our Broadband Isnt Free!!!!

hi new to this, but i have just had a package for all three and have found out they are charging me for broadband even though we agreed a deal where i would only pay £5.oo extra a mth to cover being off broadband, can't get any help from my calls to sky so have contacted customer care at sky to complain, don't know if it will help but i am not happy about it and feel i have been conned.
