Day1

It started off fine, activated on the 21st as the letter stated, no problems with connection from 9am ( estimated switch over time )

7pm : horrific lag on everquest, logged out to try something requiring less bandwidth. Try a search on wikipedia for Hitler . It tried but couldnt quite make loading the page, then it gave up the ghost completely . Offline , at least i couldnt connect, try as i may, from 7.30pm ish till 12.20am . Not sure if this is some kind of contention thing, guessing most other users would be online around this time .

I noticed, your forbidden from receiving viruses etc on your email, according to the terms and conditions supplied with the welcome email attachment.

Eh? How are you supposed to control what you get sent. So if someone sends you an email with a virus attached they can end your account - that doesn't sound right to me.

no, it doesn't seem right. unless they mean your a willing recipient for the purposes of distributing said virus to other unwilling parties. But how would they know if you were .. does seem an odd clause.

Day 2 was a lot better . No noticible depreciation during peak hours, no lag on everquest, no disconnects...maybe the exchange just had a problem coincidental with my first day on sky .

Where do i get these stats you ask for , im not really sure on many aspects of this router thingy yet ) , i did try rebooting the router, rebooted pc as well, to no avail, was definetely an external problem. oh, it said .. LCP down where you press the connect button.

Benny.

On the Router Status page look at the bottom and you will see a button Show Statistics click on that and a pop-up window will give you all the info you need.
