10 Days for MAC Code

After 10 days I have finally got my MAC code off Sky. I first sent them an email on the 18th July. It was acknowledged on the 21st. I have since sent 2 more emails pointng out the Ofcom rules which are they are obliged to supply a MAC code within 5 days. ( I have been with Sky for 17 months so no problem with contract)
Today I have phoned them and after 10mins on the phone I was told the code was generated on the 23rd July. When asked why they had not forwarded it to me, all i got was excues.
Because of this they have now lost a customer as I have now also cancelled the TV subscribtion as well.

When you ask for a MAC, it has to be given within 5 working days. So you should have had it by 25th at the latest.

Sorry to see you leave, but at the end of the day Sky ain't for everyone. Good luck where ever you end up.
