Re: Sky Tech Support Is a Joke - Cancelling ASAP

Thanks dholdi but don't worry I wasn't expecting any kind of support from cst agents like jonny1310 posting on this forum. They provided no support before so why would I expect it now!. It's the reason that I am so frustrated as they seem to treat customers problems so flippantly and you are made to feel as if you are making mountains out of mole hills. Sorry, but 1 month with no internet in my eyes is bad service and I have every right to complain! - cst agents can disagree all they like but if the shoe were on the other foot and they had a similar experience to mine with one of their own service providers I am sure they would soon change their tune.

Re: Sky Tech Support Is a Joke - Cancelling ASAP

Actually i have had the same problem and virgin media cs are a lot worse than sky
and another thing there is not a chance that you were waiting weeks to receive a callback as when tickets are in our cue the go red and basically flash up in the cue and there are managers watching the cue and the tickets get assigned to people starting with the ones that have been waiting the longest i have never seen a ticket go this long without a callback in the whole time i have been in cst and another thing you really have nott spoke to many cst agents as your case was moved to bt escalations and they are the only ones who could have closed that ticket so why are you blaming cst for the problems you had with bt escalations as your fault was out of cst hands at that point.

Jonny dont take this the wrong way but your posts would benefit from a bit of punctuation, it would make them a lot easier to read. Now if I've interpreted what you have said correctly CST escalated godofyouall's to BT ? Surely that cant mean that you have washed your hands of it, he / she is a Sky customer not BT, and as such it would be down to you to progress that with BT on his behalf. As to people not getting call backs from Sky, this forum is rife with people, myself included, who have been promised callbacks that have never happened. If things have changed for the better then thats good, but it doesnt seem so in this case does it ?

What! so now jonny is trying to claim that I have been making this up. Should I have expected anything else from Sky cst really? I know lots of people who have complained about not receiving call backs so do not delude yourself that this is an isolated incident. In total I spoke with 6 cst agents and god knows how many on tier 1 level, explaining myself over and over again every time. And here I am again having to explain myself over and over again to a Sky cst agent on this forum. Jonny mate seriously I would quit whilst I was behind.

Re: Sky Tech Support Is a Joke - Cancelling ASAP

I did not say that it had been moved to bt. I said that it had been moved to bt escalations which is another dept within sky and when it goes there we are not alowed to do nothing with the ticket anymore and i would understand if it was them that you were waiting a while for a callback from but you are saying that it was cst fair enough i will say that there are some messers in cst but there is no need for people to tar us all with the same brush most of us do our jobs very well, So i do not appreciate people making all the cst agents look like idiots, let me just give you an example i took 30 calls on thursday and i resolved all of there issues,
I even got 3 tie pair shifts done in under 24hrs which would normally take bt escalations 7 days to complete one, So that is the reason im here defending myself and the majority of my coleages from such slander.

Ok point taken, however did anyone from cst inform the customer that that had happened ? If not you can understand why he still thinks the balls in your court.

Re: Sky Tech Support Is a Joke - Cancelling ASAP

The biggest problem that Sky have, is, if something goes wrong, as in this thread, once it does, it does so royally and there is definitely no easy route out.

It gets passed to a department, and that's it, stuck in the old red tape malarky.

Not one CST individual is responsible for this, that I appreciate, but you as Sky staff already know this, and the customer doesn't. And that has to be the most frustrating part of this and everyone else's sagas.

Just a little heads up mate, don't blow your own trumpet. There are some people on here who would pee on that.
