Broadband Fixed after 13 hours of calls however

Well after spending what seemed like forever on the phone to sky getting my broadband fixed it would constantly dropout between 7-10pm.

A person on the higher tier did something to my line and it works perfectly now. (It did take a 95 min wait to get through though!)

After spending £28 on calls (at least £17 of that wasted on the same questions on tier 1) Sky tell me to send in copies of my phone bills. So I do that and get a whole refund of £5!

I really dont know what else to add here.

without looking back over any of your other posts, and without any stats to look at, it sounds like sky capped you to give you a higher noise margin and help prevent the dropouts

as to the £5 refund/credit, its better than nothing (i ran over a missing manhole cover and had to spend £290 on new tyres and tracking, the highways agency sent me a work sheet and letter explaing they checked the stretch of road about a week before my accident so they felt they do not need to give me anything)

goos point should have said hole that used to have a cover on but did not when i dove over it
