I am not sure that it would either, but if you do plan to stick with it for the moment, it might be good to run through. It is not like I have stacks of suggestions.... I am at a loss really, but I like to help so I offered.

btw hugsie

thanks for trying to help over the last few days. im just totally deflated and depressed that ive had all this trouble. No activation, no flagging it, then i get activated withing 12 hours of operations manager talking to me when i got him nailed down. Then 6 hours of dial up speeds and told by some EDITED BY ME .. that he doesnt care isnt reading my notes and it will be 48 hours before anytjing is done.

THEN i read another person going through HELL hears "we arent allowed to put anyone through to tier 3 today"

SHAMBLES!

Read this http://interactive.pcw.co.uk/2006/02...roadband_.html

Now im getting exactly the same as some of them 120-130 and download speeds of 15kbps!!

So there is obviously some error, How starange that when they go mental and threaten to quit their spead jumps up!!

It really does seem an adsl max prob and im right near the exchange which is easynet activated and ive been told again today you should be getting 15,5 sir!!

SHAMBLES!

My feeling is bt have activated adsl on my line but its bts,., and now they have to activate it for sky and the reason i havent been told by sky or bt that im now active is they are working on the line. Could i connect to a adsl line through skys router but only get dial up speeds as its not sky enabled??

Im clutching at straws here BUT loads on that thread ive posted seemt o have what i have. 0.01 mbps

No problem for the help And I am glad to see you have come through the mist. I know it well the one that descends when you prepare to take on a Customer service call centre. It is all consuming and unfortunately often necessary. I hope things get fixed soon.

Been told by someone at sky theres no problem with my equipment as the speed to my house on line is 133kbps!! so why tell me to check cables and stuff lol.

ALSO TOLD tier 3 has been down since yesterday!! whooppeeeeee

sO IM STILL ON 100KBPS UP AND 100KBPS DOWN

the guy at sky says he believes its a problem with the LLU or equipment at the exchange or the set up of the max account by sky.,

But again... im no further near being sorted!!

Tremendous eh??

If you have a test socket, does running through that make any difference? Your low sync speeds do seem to indicate an issue beyond our reach though.
