      Sky talk and fibre fault

Wondering if anyone can help? Since Thursday last week I have had no phone or broadband services. It coincided with a sub contractor to Bt was at the cabinet around 5pm and am sure he has unplugged something as nothing's changed on my end. So reported to sky on Thursday 7pm and phones them on Friday and Saturday.
It's now Monday and still no service at time of writing.
How long do sky have as a timescale to fix faults 24,48'72 hrs? And what compensation are you entitled to-- is it a refund for the phone and fibre broadband.
      Thanks chris

Sky would need to raise that sort of problem with BT Openreach who would send out one of their engineers. As far as I know, BT Openreach SLA is 72 hours. Not sure if that includes both of the weekend days though (I've seen them working on Saturdays, but not on Sundays).

As for compo,I don't think they will automagically pay anything unless you ask, so I reckon it's best to know you want and negotiate in order to reach a fair and reasonable settlement.

Sounds like you may have had your pair "borrowed". A not uncommon problem and a bit of a scandal I feel that OR needs to get sorted.
