      Re: Sky line rental increase

Your line rental increased by 2.25.
The reason for this is it's an increase.
      Sky said so here.

Multiply that by the millions who have it and it is some profit for sky including the HD rip off charge as well...

Its the old story, if you don't want to be ripped off by Sky, take your business somewhere else and be ripped off there.

      Re: Sky line rental increase

The reason they gave for the increase is that they will use the money they get from me is to invest in new technology and new programs let me just say that i`me all in favour for this. But i still do`nt see why it should be put on my line rental that is stuck on the side of my House which as not seen a engineer since it was put there many years ago i just do`nt get it.

      Pay a year in advance?

119.40 per year which works out at 9.95 per month.

You could say the same to BT though, they have just put theirs up as well.

BT is 14.50 and TalkTalk is 14.60 (or it might be the other way round), but I think both are still cheaper than Sky on the pay 12 months in advance rate apparently. And I suppose other ISPs that use BT WLR will come into line with BT.
