      How long to remotely activate phone line?

      Moved in to a new property, got tv package etc sorted out and was installed 3 weeks ago but phoneline has not yet been sorted. Anyway, Sky put through the phone line order again and as there's a line in its just a case of a remote activation.

      But... the activation date they have given me is 2 weeks away!

      Anyone know if there's any way I can get this sped up/moved forward?

      They have to wait for BT Openreach to go in and do it, if they are busy you have to wait.

      ask to be put through to provisioning. then request that they change your CRD to earliest possible date *customer required date* if it is a remote activation this can be done
