Well, I have tried to decide for opt-out option but its says as follows:

      New Voice Network

      Sky's new network

We are not transferring your service, therefore you do not need to opt out.

We are only transferring customers with Sky Talk Calls, Sky Talk Line Rental and Sky Broadband to our new network. We don't think you take all of these services from us, so you don't need to opt out from the network transfer as this doesn't apply to you. If you think this is incorrect or you want more information please call 08442 410 515 and we'll be pleased to help.

Ah! That's why because I have Sky Talk Unlimited with BT Unlimited Weekend Plan / Line Rental & Sky Broadband Unlimited. Oh-oh!! Does it mean that I won't get the full Download speed increase upto 20MB with upto 1.3MB Upload speed?

You should still get the benefits of the new speeds.

Thanks for the quick reply, NR.

      My Exchange Information as follows:

Exchange: Maida Vale BT Code: WEWMAI
      Location: Maida Vale W9 1QD
      Distance:- Direct: 0.59 mi
      (appx)*By Road: 0.8 mi
      Service Enabled On
      ADSL Enabled: March 31, 2000
DSL Max Enabled: March 31, 2006
      SDSL Enabled: No Info
21CN due : (PSTN) No Info
      21CN WBC (Broadband) February 15, 2009

At the moment, here is my current basic stats:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 15323 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 31.5 db 19.7 db
Noise Margin 7.6 db 15.0 db

I think there is strange thing going on with my line attenuation, last year, it was 30.5db, now its 31.5 db. I can't wait for the BT to come over to mine and remove completely the existing old fashion 1973 BT phone line (but my mum tell me to wait until the builders have finished fitting brand new central heating sytem / radiators for the whole house first), as its completely full of corrosion, plus my non-NTE master socket is hanging / swinging by 2 wires and the same with external wiring - full of corrosion!! Replace it with brand new and up to standard style wiring with the latest BT NTE-5A master socket, I think it'll cost me around 230+.

As it states there sky are only moving customers with all services from sky including line rental but you should still get the new connection speeds if your line can support it.

You could probably do it yourself for a lot less. Have a chat with brian69 - even though you shouldn't touch BT's cabling etc - that is an awful lot of money to spend.

Connection Speed 15323 kbps 764 kbps
That's pretty good considering your attenuation.

SkyUser - Potential ADSL2 Line Speed Checker & Calculator

      ADSL2+ Speed Test
We estimate your line is capable of between 12mb to 14mb broadband on an ADSL2+ service.

This ADSL2 Line Speed Calculator is a best guess only, as to the broadband speed that maybe possible on your telephone line. The checker provides results of up to 24mb with the data that is made available to us. This is purely for indication only and should not be classed as the Line Speed that you would receive on any ADSL or LLU product from another ISP.

Previous, when I first joined Sky on 9th May 2007, Sky tells me that my old BT 1973 phone line (non-NTE socket) supports upto 13.5MB!!

Then, that means I need to get BT to remove the existing BT line and install a fresh brand new wiring from scratch from the pole to the master socket in order to get the full upto 20MB speed.

To be honest, I don't mind spending a lot of money, as long BT have done very proper job, with new NTE master socket, completely new wiring and so on, not COWBOY job!!

Not necessarily. Changing your drop line or the wiring and mastersocket could have no affect at all.
But if you want to do that then it is up to you but you have to remember that there is always that risk there that you wont get a higher speed at all.

Well you have a speed more than twice as fast as mine, and so if you are happy to spend it then why not? You may get more, but like I said, you are doing well already!

If you have any to spare, fancy paying my Sky subscription increase for a year?
