Thumbs down Sky Talk Free time Price Increases

Effective 8th april

Evening and weekend calls to landline numbers are still free with no connection fee. Calls to other numbers connection fee Will increase from 7p TO 8p

Landline rates day time weekday calls 01 02 03 will increase from 4p a minute to 4.5 a minute conection fee will now be 8p.

Calls to sky contact centres will still be free during evening and weekends. Daytime weekdays calls will now be 5p a minute plus 8p connection fee

I expect they have to claw back all the £5 discounts on broadband some way

Or, perhaps, a bit of forward-planning to boost revenue?

Thinking about it, as unemployment rises, so do daytime calls to their call centres. Time to cash in on that even if the calls are to downsize a subscription package?

i got the letter yesterday aswell.its a bit offside really cos if you phone on a night they say its busy and to ring back in the morning!!!!i asked a sky rep in town yesterday and he knew nothing about it,one of the main bonuses of sky talk is FREE calls to support;(

Unlimited has not changed also Sky Talk Unlimited subscriptions remain £5 per month for all Sky TV Customers

All I can say is good job I stayed with BT on option3 (I can't belive I just said that!)

Only got charged for 1 number last month and that was an 0844 number.

Although I can see Sky now moving to 0844 just to tick us BT customers off.

But if you are on Sky Talk, calls to them are included now...
