Bill Dispute +Thus PLC

Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone had come across Thus PLC before?

My Sky statement for July ( i get broadband and tv as well ) contained a couple of telephone numbers we'd never heard of before. Apparently on the 23rd June a call was made to 090615772779- Thus PLC. The premium rate call cost £7.80. I contacted Sky by their online form but got no reply despite making the same query three times. A Sky Talk rep contacted me by phone this evening explaining we'd made a call to a scratchcard company, which was news to us. And apparently the same thing happened on the 29th April, a different number, the rep wasn't helpful once i made it clear we did not make the calls, but gave me an email address: enquiries@mcintyreanddod.com.

I'd like to make it clear only 2 adults live in the house, we're both physically disabled and watch the pennies, since a house fire last year we both live upstairs until downstairs is rebuilt, so the phone is near us at all times. We definitely did not make any call to any scratchcard company, we have absolutely no interest in them, but we still dispute the bill. I've decided to email this company, set out what i've said here before emailing Sky again. But after that i'm stuck!!.

I'm more than worried that these premium charges are going to appear on my bill regularly and i won't be able to stop them. Does anybody have any ideas please? Has anyone experienced the same? I'm really worried.

Do Sky have the last word on this matter?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Bill Dispute +Thus PLC

Having just checked my Sky Talk bill today. I have also discovered a call made on 05/08/08 @ 11.29 for 1m 47sec to 08450516520(Thus Plc) Total cost £0.18 - I did NOT make this call.

OK it is not a large sum - but I would like to find out more, and obviously stop things before they get out of control.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Spot on! - Many thanks.

I have got one or two odd entries, thought I had more until I started Googling them - learnt a lot in a short space of time!

No, you do. Move your line rental and calls to someone else. BT will bar 09 calls free of charge if you ask.
