      It was in the original terms and conditions so unless you have received new T&Cs then yes it should be connected to the telephone line however unless you have received a letter to the contrary Sky are unlikely to enforce this as for new customers the conditions refer to connection to broadband where provision to do so has been provided.

      Depends when the mulitroom was originally installed but as of 2 years last December no STB needs a telephone connection because the system now uses wifi.

      Perfect thanks I just thought that may also be holding back the signal, I didn't get a chance to re do the connections last night but hope it's as easy as that to fix.

      I have re tried the connections and all is now working thanks for all the advice I have one happy mother in law who can now watch all her day time TV.
