Does live pause and rewind work? What version and model is your Amstrad box? You can find this on the System Details screen (settings 03).

The Amstrad 780 is still plagued with problems, ranging from what you describe to over-running recordings and various sound issues. A new EPG will be available early next year.

Hmmm. Someone mentioned reconnecting satellite feed - but I cant see that doing anything to be honest?

Its my old mans box - I guess next step is to get sky called out. What do they charge these days?

Yes it seems to. Recordings work some of the time. Sometimes not.

Its old mans box so I'll have to get these details next time i visit.
