Sky HD 1tb to Slingbox Pro HD
Can anyone point me in the right direction i am trying yo connect my Sky 1TB box to my slingbox using a HDMI lead to component lead all i have is a blank screen is it not possible to do this my sky 1 TB box is the Amstrad DRX 895c Thanks Gvndf1

I once had a similar problem with other equipment. It turned out the default was for SD composite video and I had to set up the STB's using SD connections so I could access the Menu and change it to Prograssive (Component) video. The screen then went blank again but when I connected via Component video the set up worked as it should!

It is when you connect to the component i am unsure if sky has done something with the 1 tb box so you cannot connect it to a slingbox in HD as it works fine with composite
