Rejoining Sky after a long break

I found a cracking deal in the papers for Sky HD package including sports for 18 month contract,as i have no particular allegiance to any provider i have cancelled with the very disappointing BT Ulltra HD package( fox tv now not available),i have been on Virgin Tivo but they lack Sky Atlantic, being a Sky+ customer in the past i had forgotten how good the box is,being able to download series and episodes is a brilliant addition and the guide is the best on any platform with the recent firmware update, okay only 2 tuners, and a smaller drive are a drawback, but hopefully i will eventually upgrade to Sky Q..Dave

Tip: Get Sky Q from the go you'll not regret it.

Unless he/she's in a flat with non-compatible communal dish then they'll have no choice and will have to get Sky Q.

I'm sure most people would advise to go for 2Tb box and add second room to get enhanced functionality.
      I certainly would. I wouldn't go back.

As I'm on a bit of a budget and my purchurse of a 4k tv is on hold i thought the deal for Sky HD was too good to turn down, this deal did not include Sky Q which will be a future investment.Does anyone know, if a buy a second hand Sky HD 2tb box on say ebay will i be able to use it with my viewing card,i have heard the cards only work with their original box

You will have to phone sky customer services to ask for a card pairing
