      I know the feeling .

However I've had a couple of months with a nice and fast connection at last.

Re: Sky may drop the price of broadband products

As an existing customer these offers do nothing for me and still wouldn't make me stay if I was offered them when my Fibre contract expires.

I want long term fair value (which I believe the Plusnet product currently offers), not more short term discounts.

Sky should do away with all of these silly discounts beyond the first 12 months (when they acquire a new customer), and focus on creating unbeatable bundles that don't need discounts for customers to keep.

I am as well and nothing I am reading here makes me want to change to Sky for line rental as you just know that in 12 months time both BT and Sky will be raising their prices to pay for these short term promotions.

Re: Sky may drop the price of broadband products

Has anyone noticed that the Sky website is now practically void of any reference to Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro? I know that Sky have never really pushed the Pro variant of Fibre & it has never been possible to order Pro on-line, but they did at least (previously) have a small section about Pro (on the page that lists Fibre products), which provided pricing info & the phone number to call to order Pro. Maybe I am not looking properly, but I can no longer see any info about Pro on the Sky website, other than minimal info buried away in a terms & conditions section.

So, what could the reason be for this? Is Pro now so uncompetitive that Sky are too embarrassed to promote it? Will the speed of the non Pro fibre product be increased, thus removing the need for Pro?

I'm hoping something will change soon, as given how the competition for new customers is heating up, I'm starting to think that my decision to sign up for Pro in March was a bad move - in hindsight, the 40mb product would have been more than sufficient for me, but after being stuck on a 2mb connection for years, I could not resist the temptation of trying out the maximum speed possible

**UPDATE/EDIT: I have now found the info about Pro on the Sky website. Should have gone to Specsavers!
