As for why Sky charges 65 (sorry, no 60) for a call-out and VM don't, I can only guess it is because with VM, they own the STB/s, whereas with Sky you own the dish and the STB/s.
I think he means 60 setup for the Sky+HD box if you want an engineer install. But he can't mean this because Virgin charge 50 activation for a box you give back if you leave, ie TIVO.

Entertainment Extra+ 31.50 + 5.25 for the premiums in HD if you want them seems like a pretty good deal to me. Especially when there's like 45 HD channels for EExtra anyway with the HD pack!

To get Sky Sports/Movies content you will still require the relevant Movies/Sports subscription.

Absolutely, but when those aren't relevant only needing to pay 5 for the 45 Entertainment Extra HD channels is a great idea. And if I want to get movies or sports in the future, I have the choice of SD or HD meaning I can either keep saving 5.25 or opt for the better quality

Any news on Sky bringing their Pro fibre package down to a more competitive price?

Trust me, I am keeping my ears close to the groups for this one.

Sadly nothing yet, but I am sure we all remain hopeful.

Let's hope they listen If they dropped the price i'd sign up immediately. As it stands i'm just waiting for the 11 more months to hurry up and go so I can join Plusnet.
