Let's face it, those figures can be manipulated in so many other ways too.

Would I be counted once or twice for Freeview, if at all? Both my TVs have built-in Freeview so I can, and sometimes do, easily switch to Freeview on occasions.

As for watching Freeview on-line, anyone heard of the TVCatchup site? Provided that you have a TV License and access to the Internet, you can easily watch London's TV content anywhere you like.

If Ofcom have failed to include all these figures, then someone should update the figures to reflect things.

Re: Free HD Subs For Some Customers With More Than One HD Box And No HD Subscription?

Viewing any live video stream, such as TVCatchup, is heavily dependant on a good Internet connection. I have occasionally watched TVCatchup and have been fine with the performance.

If you are on a train or something like that, then it would be useless.

The HD had been there for a long while now and for godness sake sky why not give to customers free HD subscription now as it no benefits to sky anymore.

They are pulling in 40-50 million from HD subs, which is helping to pay for free box upgrades and those who are getting discounts, like someone I could mention.

Re: Free HD Subs For Some Customers With More Than One HD Box And No HD Subscription?

My HD sub deal ends next month, contacted sky but will not renew deal so I have dropped HD pack from next month. I am not willing to pay 10.25 to watch the same channels, which may or may be not of better quality depending when they were made

Depending on your current subscription, you could have HD for less with entertainment extra + at 31.50 per month

You need to have called after the current deal ends to get another on the old format HD package, but I'm sure they would have told you that when you downgraded. If the old package holds no value to you (ie F1) then as the above post says you could have EE+.
