      Welcome to SkyUser

The Sky router is wireless or wired, you can turn the wireless off and it has a 4 port hub so to speak at the back of the router. I do not use the wireless whatsoever.

whats sky bb like does it go down a lot and are the only numbers to contact them 087 numbers and whats their charge/min
Mine has never gone off and there is a freephone number

      • If the wired network is CAT 5 or 6 Ethernet, then yes.
      • You can have some devices connected to the wired network at the same time as the wireless conection is being used.
      • Performance is OK but depends to some extent on you're distance from the telephone exchange. For long lines, high noise lines there can be some degradation, especially in the evenings, but there is plenty of help to sort those things out on this forum.

I've just moved to Sky myself from Eclipse and have increased download speeds by 30%. Technical support lines are a concern, but then Eclipse was pretty bad anyway!
