      The Router + Mobiles

I've been trying to figure out why the hell my mobile won't get a signal anywhere near my room nowadays. I finally figured it was the wireless capabilities of the router. Anyone know if I'm correct in thinking this or am I talkin' crap? I find it funny that when I was on BT broadband, no problems at all with my phone, now since I got sky, only 2 places in my house can get a signal at all. I assume if I'm right I can switch the wireless capabilities off by logging in to the router? I don't use wireless anyways. If anyone could confirm this for me that'd be much appreciated.

My problem was in reverse whereby the BT hands free phone was affecting the router. The Sky people told me to change the router channel from 6 to 11and seems to have done the trick.

If you dont use the wireless and you think it may be the cause of the problem you may aswel turn access point off in the wireless settings
