      Sky Router "Negotiating"

      Hi, got my sky broadband activated today but the sky router wont work, all it says is negotiating! i extracted my username and password from the sky router and put them in my old router and its working fine! so is the sky router buggerd?

      It could be that its buggered, However if/when you ring Sky, Dont mention that you have tried it and it works in another router, As that breaks the T&C's of the agreement!

      Try Resetting it and see what happens? Dont know what else to suggest as your old router gets sync and the "ACTUAL" one doesnt?

      i tryed resetting it a few times, same thing happend! it seams to be stuck in negoatating mode! i was hoping i would have no problems with it, because its the upgrade of the netgear router i got, ah well, lets hope sky sends another one

      Okay, gave sky a call, 40 minutes on hold, they say ive got to wait 4 days and then call them back, i cant seam to get though to them that the line is connected to sky!
