      Re: Selling Sky Router

A few people have tried selling Sky Router's on Ebay, but Ebay removed their listings.

      Re: Selling Sky Router

Not a very good idea to sell a sky router at all really, it's MAC address may still be linked to your account on skys systems, someone could deliberately buy your router with the intention of doing some nasty stuff online, knowing full well that any investigation will initally have the finger of blame pointing at you rather than them.

I wouldn't do that myself, for the same reason i posted above, essentially you're selling someone a username and password that could still be linked to your sky account, and it doesnt matter if you flash the router to netgears retail firmware, someone can put skys back on it and do the same.

I'd even go as far as urging the moderators to pull any posts of people trying to sell their routers, as the potential for online abuse that could land the original owner in some serious trouble is massive.

      Re: Selling Sky Router

Hey you could still have one and input your name and password obtained via URL injection code, the it would be used as if it were yours, no different to buying a non Sky router and inputting netgear obtained password.
