    1st router reboot, can't log in on Netgear now?

    This is a discussion on 1st router reboot, can't log in on Netgear now? within the Sky Router forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; I too still have this problem and no amount of rebooting does anything I need help!!...

      I too still have this problem and no amount of rebooting does anything I need help!!

      Why have you lot not thought about re-flashing the router with the sky firmware?

      This will factory restore everything to the factory defaults and will fix any corrupt files within the routers firmware. It will also default the login details to admin/sky!

      The sky firmware is located on the cd rom that was supplied with the router, simply power off the router, use a pin to hold in the reset button on the back then plug the power cord back in to the router until the two lights flash on the front of the router then release the reset button and run the flashing software!

      JOB DONE!

      Right then ....

      When pressing the reset button on the back of the router...you MUST hold it in until the test light (the tick) flashes (about 10 seconds) then and only then will it reset to defaults....

      If you press and hold for only 1 or seconds it doesn't work.
