    Router needs resetting every log in

      Router needs resetting every log in

      I have to reset my router every time I log in, I've been in touch with sky several times, but yet not resolved!

      Any ideas would be greatfully received.

      I have had sky max for a week now at first my connection dropped all the time, but things have stabilized now. My router still keeps freezing up thou, I am going to get another router. The ADSL 2 Linksys has had really good reviews in a lot of sky forums and has resolved a lot of common problems. It's a shame sky have gone with a router that is just not up to scratch. (build quality is not great)

      I will dig out the model number if you like?

      Welcome to the forum

      Have a look at the first sticky in my signature at the bottom of this post. That should give you a clue as to what is going on and how to resolve it. If you're stuck please post details of your problem and your router stats.

      I tried your solution, but when I logged on today my router had lost my IP Address again, so I had to reset the router again.
