    router not always being able to find line

      router not always being able to find line

      I can be on-line and the router loses the line, it flashes orange for a mintue then stops for a few seconds before flashing orange again, also sometimes when I plug the router in it does not find line, but does after a bit, sometimeas only for a few minutes, sometimes half an hour till an hour and seems to be happening more, anyone know what the problem is? thanx

      Have you tried turning off the UPnP?

      I don't get you, if I do admin/sky there is information which does not link to my router, if I type my username/password for this site it does not take it, and can't create new account

      You need to login to your router as per the link I gave you above and try turning off the UPnP

      Universal Plug and Play, known to sometimes cause the problems you are stating.

      If you read the page I gave you the link to at the bottom it tells you how you can turn it on or off.

      Try turning it off and see if it helps.

      There is a box I have tyo tick to turn it on, there is not a box I have to tick to turn it off, so I assume it is off

      Ok. Just spotted you on 18.00 a month Broadband.

      Is this the Connect package at 17.00 per month? and if you have been on it for less than 10 days, is normal.

      Can you confirm which package you are on?
