OK, it seems that it is not seeing the Default Gateway which leads it on to the Internet. That might be the cause. Try this -
Open the Network Connections, right click the Wireless card and select Properties. Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click the Properties button.
Tick the Use this IP address and put in the following.
IP address 192.168.0.100
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.0.1

Preferred Server 208.67.222.222
Secondary 208.67.220.220

Close out and reboot the laptop. Hopefully you will connect.

I've seen this on several Vista machines and it's nearly always caused by a signal interference from another decide or electrical appliance try switching off any mobile phones in the house, microwave ovens, cordless phones and fluorescent strip lights. Do this one by one and you should be able to identify the offending device. The device cuasing this is prventing the initial "handshake" between the router and wireless card so once the handshake has taken place it should be OK to switch the offending device back on. Hope this helps.
