      My Router needs it's Sleep!!!

Can anyone help with a reason why a BB connection, which works perfectly well if used, seems to "turn itself off" or "go to sleep" if left unused for a period (of several hours or days) ???

My SKY connection has always done this right from the start in September, and while I have fought round most of the other issues (and initially there were lots!!) this remains as an annoyance.

I'm on Connect, get good speed, and when it's working, now get pretty good reliability....except, I go away for a couple of days, and it's NEVER working when I get back, so forced to do power cycle on router, sometimes only once, but more likely a few times over first hour of attempted use, then it settles (despite not showing any different stats to first connection!!) and all works well for days.......till I'm forced to leave it unused again...........

Whatever's doing it, the constantly running connection self test doesn't keep it active.

Have done everything I can think of.......but it remains a pain in the bum.........so much for a constantly on connection!!!!!

      Any ideas please............???
My Bus speed is 26 mph, what's yours??
