      Best Position for Router

In my house i only have one base station. I am thinking of putting the router near to the base station. Near the base station is also a digital cordless phone, a tv and some speakers.

Would it be a good odea to place the router on top of the TV ?

      Thanks in advance.

No. Keep the router as far away as possible from anything else electrical - particularly any cordless phones.

I'd add to that a couple of things:

      - Also keep it as far as is practically possible away from any TV remote senders.

      - Keep it on its side if you can. (Keeps it cooler = more stable.)

      Thanks,

My plan is to move the phone as far away as possible from my router. To put it on its side on the other side of the Tele.

      Thanks guys.
