Getting off Sky Q router (Broadband - not Fibre)

      Hi

Currently Stessing out over trying to get a white unlocked Huawei HG612 BT Openreach modem to do ADSL. Wifi and other things will be handled by my Linksys WRT 32X.

Reasons for wanting separate boxes are documented by others elsewhere, but basically I'm hacked off with the inability to Turn off DHCP in the ER115 (it is a bug in the current firmware where you can uncheck the box but the setting does not stick when you click 'save'). I have a Pihole and want that to control DHCP.

The Linksys is on LEDE (open)WRT firmware. The Hg612 is unlocked and I can access the GUI.

So. Where do I start? Does the HG need specific settings or is that all done in my WRT 32X? Or is the HG612 not up to the task?

      Thanks
