Do the TPLink VR900 must be connected to my Sky router?? I thought the TPLink VR900 would replace it completely. I don't want a dual router setup. I don't want the TPLink VR900 alongside with the one I am using at the moment...

That means you can also use it as an ethernet router using that specific LAN port as a WAN port for connection to an FTTP or G.Fast modem. In other words it's fairly future proof.

Re: Bandwidth throttling on Sky router

      Hi marjohn56,

I had some health issue this summer so I completely switched out of that field and I did not buy the router yet.

I was just reading a post on another forum where someone was complaining about the TPLink VR900 and someone else was saying that the TPLink VR2600 is much better. Apparently it's a router/modem combo and it also offers individual bandwidth control per device like the VR900. Do you know if the TPLink VR2600 can be compatible with my ADSL connection?
